Es geistert eine Nachricht in den tiefen des Internets herum, nach der Israel im Gaza-Streifen chemische Waffen benutzt [oder hier]:
The Palestinian ministry of health revealed on Monday that the Israeli army has used a new type of explosive in its offensive on the Gaza Strip. These explosives contain toxics and radioactive materials which burn and tear the victim’s body from the inside and leave long term deformations.
The ministry called upon the international community and the humanitarian organizations to send an international medical community to examine the victims and confirm the truth about these banned weapons that Israel appears to be using.
The ministry showed that most of the injuries which the hospitals receive result from huge explosions which cause burning and severing of limbs, including the inner parts of the body. This causes long term deformations.
Ob die Meldung stimmt oder nicht, spielt eigentlich nur begrenzt eine Rolle, seit dem Anfang der Operation Sommerregen hat das israelische Militär etwa 79 Menschen im Gaza-Streifen umgebracht - und ein Ende der Schlachterei ist nicht in Sicht.
In light of the continue Israeli offensive for the third consecutive week and subsequent war crimes, the Gaza Strip is experiencing a very serious humanitarian situation that threatens the lives of the civilian populations. PCHR calls upon the international community, particularly the High Contracting Parties to the Geneva Conventions of 1949 and United Nations Agency, to immediately intervene to force IOF to stop this offensive and allow the passage of foodstuffs, medical supplies and fuels into the Gaza Strip. PCHR warns the international community of the policies of collective punishment and reprisals practiced by IOF against the Palestinian civilian population, especially the destruction of electricity sources and the denial of passage of foodstuffs and fuels into the Gaza Strip, which will lead to a humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip.
