Lügen ist eine Kunst, die von Regierenden nach Laune gebraucht wird. Wundert es da irgendwen, wenn das bei der US-Regierung nicht anders ist?

There was one problem. It was not true.
I had unknowingly passed along false information. And five of the highest ranking officials in the administration were involved in my doing so: Rove, Libby, the vice President, the President’s chief of staff, and the President himself.
Aus dem Munde des früheren Mundstücks der Bush-Regierung Scott Mcclellan, der nun entweder sein Gewissen wiedergefunden hat oder aber (keine Unterstellung beabsichtigt…) ein paar Bücher über die Ladentheke zu schieben gedenkt..
Die derzeitige US-Regierung hat allenfalls die Tragweite und die Anzahl der Lügen dermaßen überstrapaziert, dass es nur noch traurig ist - das Lügen haben sie nicht erfunden.. Vielleicht veranstalten sie ja einen Wettbewerb im Bürger-Anlügen.. Davon gehe ich auf jeden Fall bei Cheney und Rice aus..
